An extremely rare gooey confection of gorgeousness this outfit released in 1987 and then promptly melted into obscurity. The Meltations consisted of the wonderfully named Helico Van der Ploeg, Andrew Newcombe, Matthew Graham and John Penfold. The single was recorded at Goldsmiths College, London. This rarely appears on ebay and when it does it can sell for over £200. The killer track is the a side and if you wish to hear it visit the Cloudberry records blog where this and other delights await. Like the man in the Milk Tray adverts they deliver their goods under cover of darkness and leave no trace. Who were they?

I have a copy of this single that was given to me by the brother of one of the Meltations whom I worked with back in the 80's. Would be prepared to sell it.

Al Jardine... don't let go of what you've got. You won't get another copy of 32 Sweet Teeth. They were a tidy band.
